I did a lot of research, trying to find the right chest of drawers for my daughter's room. This one was not as nice as I had hoped. The construction /quality isn't that great. The drawers don't sit nicely, they wobble. The paint is sprayed on in a sloppy manner. There is more fiberboard than they lead you to believe. The dresser did come assembled, which was nice, but the fiberboard back was ripped off with the staples still stuck in the back. It will do for now. It was the perfect size for her room. Because it isn't particleboard, it didn't weigh a lot- which is nice.
It is one step above the particleboard dressers you find at KMart, but not as nice as an "all wood" one you'd buy at a furniture store.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
